One of the strange functions of celebrity is that famous folks’ children grow up in the spotlight. Some parents shield their kids from publicity as long as possible and we only get to see those celebrity kids grown up. Others are exposed to the public right away. Think for instance of Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter Ava and son Deacon who occasionally show up on Witherspoon’s Instagram. We’ve got to see those kids grow through the years. Other celebrities like Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard go the opposite route and do their best to protect their kids’ images.

Regardless of how these celebrity kids finally become introduced to the public, one thing is always fun to marvel at: just how grown up they are and how much they resemble their celebrity parents.
