Disturbing Video Shows Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Attacking Cassie…Now She’s Speaking Out

Updated on May 23, 2024: Cassie Ventura is now sharing her own statement.

“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet,” Ventura wrote in a post shared on Instagram. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”

Ventura continued, “Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in. I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you.”

Updated on May 19, 2024: Two days after the video was released to the public, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is speaking out.

(Warning: The below video uses words some may find offensive.)

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” Diddy said on Instagram. “I was [messed] up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” he continued. “I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Updated on May 17, 2024:

CNN has exclusively obtained video evidence of a physical altercation between Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and ex-girlfriend Cassie Venture.

As CNN reports, the disturbing video matches allegations that Cassie made against Combs in the now-settled federal lawsuit she filed last November.

The video captured in 2016 details Combs who is wearing only a white towel “grabbing, shoving, and kicking” Cassie as she attempted to walk toward the hotels elevators.

It was taken by security cameras from a now-closed Los Angeles hotel known as the InterContinental Hotel.

While Cassie is on the floor, Combs grabs a purse and a suitcase, before grabbing the back of Cassie’s sweatshirt and dragging her toward a room.

In a statement issued by Cassie’s lawyer Douglas H. Wigdor about the video to CNN reads, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,” Combs said in the statement obtained by CNN.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, R&B singer, born Casandra Ventura, has filed a lawsuit against music mogul, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, whom she also dated at the age of 19.

According to The New York Times, Cassie met Combs in 2005. In her lawsuit, she is claiming that Combs abused and raped her during their relationship.

Cassie claims that shortly after becoming romantic with Combs, he “began a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters.” Then, in 2018, shortly before ending their relationship, Cassie claimed that Combs forced his way into her home and raped her.

Following filing the lawsuit in Manhattan, Cassie shared a statement, “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ lawyer, Ben Brafman, responded on his behalf.

“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

And in response to Combs’ lawyer’s response, Cassie’s lawyers claimed that Combs tried to pay her off in exchange for her continued silence. “Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit. She rejected his efforts.”
