Cassie Laundrie, the sister of Brian Laundrie, has revealed that his niece and nephew have sadly been dragged into this story in a nasty way. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Cassie recently opened up for the first time to let the public know what she does and does not know about her brother’s disappearance.
She remains the only member of the Laundrie family to speak out on her own accord. And as Cassie Laundrie revealed in her interview, she doesn’t know where Brian is and she does not know if her parents know more than they are letting on.

However, Cassie said that if she did know where Brian was, she would absolutely turn him in and she also urged her parents to do the same, if they do know where their son is. Brian has not been seen by law enforcement since September 13.
In her interview, Cassie also revealed that she saw her brother twice when he returned to Florida without his fiancé Gabby Petito. Cassie saw Brian on September 1 and September 6 while the family camped at Fort De Soto.
She said she never saw the white Ford van and no one talked about Gabby. Now, Cassie says her young children have been targeted by outsiders who are seeking justice for Gabby.
Report States Cassie Laundrie Has Received Threats of Kidnapping Her Kids
According to WFLA, Cassie Laundrie and her husband, James Luycx, have gotten threats about “killing their family and kidnapping their kids.” The report continues to say that they have received other types of messages from random people as well.
As a result of the disturbing threatening messages, Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies have been checking on the family regularly. If you might recall, the whole reason why Cassie Laundrie and her husband finally spoke out, despite the FBI telling them not to, is because they had people standing outside their home shouting at them through microphones.
This news comes around the time Gabby Petito’s cause of death was revealed to the public. According to the coroner that conducted the autopsy, Petito died of strangulation.
Dr. Brent Blue revealed that they believe Gabby was deceased for about 3 to 4 weeks before her body was discovered on September 19. He also confirmed that she was not pregnant.
Before Blue’s press conference was concluded, the Laundrie family’s lawyer issued this statement:
“Gabby Petito’s death at such a young age is a tragedy. While Brian Laundrie is currently charged with the unauthorized use of a debit card belonging to Gabby, Brian is only considered a person of interest in relation to Gabby Petito’s demise. At this time Brian is still missing and when he is located we will address the pending fraud charge against him.”
Gabby Petito’s mom responded to that statement by saying, “His words are garbage. Keep talking.”
