On October 15th, Carrie Underwood kicked off her new Denim & Rhinestones Tour in honor of her ninth studio album of the same name – it’s her seventh tour and it’s supposed to be a good one. The tour began in Greenville, SC, and is set to conclude on March 17, 2023, in Seattle, WA.
With 43 dates in total – including stops in Houston, New Orleans, Denver, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Dallas, Los Angeles, and much more – fans will have PLENTY of opportunities to catch her performance live across the country.
It’s something you know her family wasn’t going to miss – and they didn’t. The country singer shared an Instagram video of her sons at her concert – she was performing at the time. It was a beautiful moment as they supported their talented mother, who was doing what she does best.

“My sweet boys came to see their mommy’s first show! Jakey caught a few songs, at least, before he drifted off to dreamland…” she wrote in the caption.
Carrie Underwood started dating Mike Fisher, a now-retired NHL player, in 2008 – the couple engaged in 2009 and wed in 2010. They now have two beautiful sons, one born in 2015 and one born in 2019. In the video, one was seen sleeping and the other was seen blowing kisses.
When Underwood announced the tour dates back in May, she also revealed that she’ll be donating $1 for each ticket sold throughout the tour to Tunnels to Towers Foundation – a nonprofit that supports veterans and their families to overcome their many everyday battles.
“I’m excited to bring the new music of ‘Denim & Rhinestones’ to life on tour, as well as put new spins on familiar favorites. We’ve been working hard already preparing an amazing show, and I can’t wait to see everyone on the road!” said the 39-year-old in a statement at the time.
Carrie Underwood Says Her Son Understands She’s Famous
In a recent interview with TODAY, Carrie Underwood revealed that her oldest son is just now starting to realize that his mother ‘does something that’s not normal.’ “I feel like, Isaiah, who’s seven and a half, he’s becoming more aware that it’s not normal,” she said to Sheinelle Jones.
She added that some of his friends will tell him how they saw his mom on TV – something not everyone can say about their mother. Their younger son, Jacob, is only three years old, so he hasn’t been subject to any of that yet – but he likely will one day, just like his older brother now.
Carrie Underwood made it a point to make time for her children while on tour, something she takes pride in. “They’ll be out to visit. This tour, I’m going home a lot more than I ever have before. If there’s a way to get me home, even if it’s just for the day,” she said in the interview.
