The impending divorce between Cardi B and Offset just took a major left turn.
The 31-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to Instagram Live on Sept. 25 to discuss her seven-year relationship with Offset, but was blindsided by a sideways comment from her soon-to-be ex-husband.
While on Instagram Live, Offset wrote a comment accusing Cardi B of cheating on him while she was pregnant with their third child, E! News reports.

Cardi filed for divorce from Offset on July 31, just one day before announcing her third pregnancy with the former Migos star. It’s the couple’s second divorce after splitting up and getting back together in 2020.
The couple share three children together: Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, Wave Set Cephus, 3, and a newborn daughter. Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, also has three other children from previous relationships.
While Cardi didn’t verbally say anything about Offset’s comment while she was live, the “WAP” rapper took to her X account to post a cryptic tweet not long after.
“AND DID !!!!!!” she wrote on X. The tweet has garnered more than 44 million views in two days, but it remains unclear what she meant by it.

Cardi B didn’t directly respond to Offset’s comment, but she did have a lot to say about their seven-year relationship, including how much she regrets getting with Offset in the first place.
“Thank you for my kids,” she said at one point in the livestream, according to USA Today. “All three of them, I don’t regret none of them. But I regret you. I don’t regret my kids; you’re a good daddy. You’re all right.”
She went on to say that she doesn’t care about any of the women Offset might be seeing now that they’re going through a divorce. “Nothing surprises me anymore. You’ve done it all, so I don’t care,” she added.
“I’m too much woman for you. … And I’ve always been too good for you.”

Cardi, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, might be in what she describes as a “court war” with her estranged husband, but they’re still taking their roles as parents seriously.
In fact, the former couple have reunited several times since Cardi filed for divorce two months ago.
On Sept. 1, the rapper took to her Instagram Story to share photos of her, Offset, and their family celebrating Wave’s third birthday with a “last-minute party.” The two seemed to be on good terms.

Two weeks later, on Sept. 15, Cardi posted a video on TikTok that showed behind-the-scenes footage from the hospital after giving birth to her new daughter. Offset, who is the father, was in the room.
No name has been revealed, but she was born on Sept. 7 and both the baby and mother are healthy.

In her divorce filing, Cardi requested primary custody of their three children and child support from Offset. The reason for divorce was “irreconcilable differences that have caused the breakdown of the marriage.”
