Cardi B Mom Shamed Because Her 2-Year-Old Uses A Pacifier

Cardi B isn’t here to listen to mom-shaming anytime soon.

After getting lambasted with comments — Cardi B informed mom-shamers to calm down after she shared a video of 2-year-old daughter Kulture with a pacifier.

The mom posted multiple photos of her Valentine’s Day weekend to her Instagram Story while on a mini-vacation with her daughter and husband, Offset.

In one of the photos, Kulture can be seen sitting on a stool on a boat out in the water —- with a pacifier.

Many were quick to jump on Cardi B for being — well, a mother.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, pacifier use is not set in stone. Technically, there is no hard and fast rule when kids should stop using them. While they are actively encouraged for young babies — experts do say that sometimes using one after 2 years of age can cause issues with dental malocclusion (misalignment of the teeth, such as an open bite or crossbite) but it is not really a concern until the child is over 4 years old.

And Cardi B was not about to be lectured on her parenting. So she took to Twitter to shut it down.

“Some kids are not like YOUR KIDS ! some kids don’t leave they paci fast or bottle or potty trained faster then others,” she tweeted. “Some kids are cool, calm some like to play and are super active that barely naps (mine) stop tellin moms what to do with their kids. All kids are different.”
