Cardi B and Offset have offiailly shared their son’s Wave Set Cephus name and face for the first time since he came into the world.
This past Thursday, Cardi B, 29, and Offset, 30, announced the name of their 7-month-old son, whom they welcomed on Sept. 4.
“????????????,” Cardi B captioned an adorable photo of little Wave in a cute outfit with a huge diamond chain.
Offset also introduced Wave to the world with an adorable picture of the infant cutely beaming at someone off-camera, wearing a handful of blinged-out necklaces.
“WAVE SET CEPHUS,” Offset captioned the photo as he revealed the 7-month-old’s name.
After the grand reveal, Cardi tweeted that it was Offset who thought up their son’s name.
“When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME !” she wrote on Twitter alongside a video of a piece of jewelry that spelled out his name.
Cardi first announced the birth of her son on Sept. 6 with a heartfelt photo to Instagram.
“9/4/21????????????,” Cardi captioned the family photo.

“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi and Offset are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Kulture. Offset is also dad to daughter Kalea, 7, and sons Kody, 7, and Jordan, 12, from previous relationships.
This past year, Cardi B revealed how Kulture eventually warmed up to the idea of a baby brother.
The 29-year-old rapper answered fan questions on Twitter when she revealed her 3-year-old’s hilariously-cute reaction to the news that she was having another child.

One fan wrote, “What was Kulture’s reaction when you told you were having another baby & that it was a boy?”
Cardi B, who is also now a mother to a 2-month-old son, responded with the video of the strong-willed tot.
In the clip, Kulture (on a loop) says she wants a baby sister. And when the mom of two tells her daughter, “Yeah, but it’s a boy,” Kulture doesn’t miss a beat and responds again saying, “No, a baby sister.”
Cardi B also spoke on the challenges she’s gone through with two kids as well as Kulture’s adjustment to being a big sister during an appearance on Good Morning America.
“I just have to divide my time with both, because my daughter, she gets a little bit territorial sometimes,” she revealed.
