Working mamas everywhere will fully relate to Cardi B’s pain after she missed out on her daughters first steps. The rapper recently gushed on her Instagram Stories that her one-year-old daughter, Kulture, took her first two steps. Good news, right? Sadly, because she was working, the star missed the big moment and had to hear about it from her sister, Hennessy, and her baby’s father, rapper Offset.
While doing a meet-and-greet, Cardi’s sister called her with the thrilling news. “So, I’m doing a meet and greet, right? And Hennessy calls me with Kulture, and I’m like, ‘I’m doing a meet and greet right now, I’ma call you guys right back,” Cardi recalled on her Instagram Stories.

“Then Offset calls me,” she continued, “and I’m like, ‘I’m doing a meet and greet babe, call Hennessey, though she’s with Kulture.’ And he calls her… he witnessed my baby’s first two steps. He always witnesses the good sh*t! My baby starting to walk already. I can’t take it. I can’t take it.”
We feel you, Cardi! Missing those moments is always tough, and it happens to all moms, not just the ones touring the world. There will be plenty of exciting milestones ahead, though, so don’t take it too hard!
Cardi may have missed a big moment, but at least the “Bodack Yellow” rapper was sure to capture Kulture playing in her adorable hot pink “luxury car.” Here’s hoping that the mom FOMO doesn’t keep Cardi out of the studio.
