Candace Cameron Bure is sending off her youngest child, Maksim, to start his freshman year of college.
“College bound!!! I’m so excited for him, although as his mama, and him being the baby, I’m so [sad]. Go @maksim.bure Go!! Be great for God!!” Bure wrote in her caption.

The “Fuller House” actress, 45, posted the Instagram photo this past weekend — hugging her Maksim, 19, while she and husband Valeri Bure, 47, dropped him off at Los Angeles International Airport.
It wasn’t until after the drop-off that the mom posted a selfie video in her Instagram stories about how she really felt about her son’s departure.
In the since-deleted clip, Bure and her husband can be seen driving away from the airport as she reveals she is “very sad” she is. The pair, who also share daughter Natasha, 23, and son Lev, 21, were upset that they could not take their “baby” all the way to his new school.
“So we just dropped our youngest, the baby, off at the airport to go to college and I’m very sad that I didn’t get to go to take him to college,” Bure shared in her Instagram story.

“I had to just drop him off at LAX, and I’m getting no sympathy from someone,” she shared to her husband. To which Bure jokingly scolds his wife for raising “soft kids.” To which Candace Cameron Bure says: “I’m still sad! Who’s with me?” she asks fans.
The empty-nester mom recently received criticism on social media after shutting down trolls.
“Honestly, I feel like that’s just part of my God-given nature,” she said this past Sunday during an appearance episode of the “Whine Down” podcast, according to Us Weekly. “Maybe because I had children in my 20s,” she continued. “God gave me a lot of patience and it’s tested all the time, but I’ve had a lot of time to practice my patience. It’s not great every day.”
Bure also spoke on owning her past mistakes, referencing a TikTok video she made last month where she lip-synced the Lana Del Rey song “Jealous Girl” in an attempt to show the “power of the Holy Spirit.”
“I will say, I enjoy apologizing. I like receiving an apology if someone is wrong,” she admitted. “So I’m quick to say, like, ‘Hey, if I got that wrong, so sorry.’ The apology was as easy as that. It was a TikTok gone wrong.”
