Caitlyn Jenner took to X on October 14 to defend herself against everyone criticizing her for taking part in the new House of Kardashian documentary. The three-part tell-all series premiered on Oct. 8 and she was the only one in the Kardashian-Jenner family to take part in it – everyone else declined to interview.
“I hate to see the press lying about my role in the new documentary on Sky saying, I spilled all the family tea. It’s such BS,” she wrote in an X post on Saturday. “I spoke so highly of all of my family – and yes, that includes Kris. The media is so cruel and cares only about clicks. I went on fighting for my family!”
The post came just 10 minutes after she shared an article by PEOPLE that referenced an interview she did with The Times on Oct. 4 – where she spoke very highly of her 22-year marriage to Kris Jenner. “It’s true. It was magical. Best years of my life! She brought me back to life in so many ways,” she added on X.

In that interview with The Times, Caitlyn Jenner said it was ‘love at first sight’ when she (Bruce Jenner at the time) first met Kris Jenner on a blind date in 1990. She says they ‘hit it off right at the beginning’ and ended up tying the knot less than six months later. They announced their separation in October 2013.
“I was infatuated with her because she was very different from me. But yes, I’d have to say, it was love at first sight,” Caitlyn said – crediting her ex-wife with turning her life (and business) around, at the time. She goes on to admit that she (along with Kris) ‘had no idea what the future held for us’ before creating a global empire.
Also earlier this month, Caitlyn Jenner sat down for an interview with This Morning and talked about her relationships with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family. While she still has a good relationship with Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, she can’t say the same about the rest of the family – including Kris.
“When you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others… I certainly see them and we do this and that,” she told This Morning on October 4. “I’m much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don’t really have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad because we went through a lot.”
Caitlyn Jenner Was Asked About Kim Kardashian’s Sex Tape
In 2007, just a few months before the Season 1 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a sex tape featuring Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend, Ray J, was leaked – sending the internet into a frenzy. Many people speculated that it was a publicity stunt orchestrated by the family, but not Caitlyn Jenner.
When news of the sex tape started going viral, Jenner did whatever possible to avoid hearing or talking about it. “Whatever’s going on, I don’t know what it is and I’m gonna go to the golf course,” she said of her reaction at the time, adding that she just wanted to ‘stay out of it’ and chose not to talk to anyone about it.
“Kris never talked to me about it. I never talked to Kimberly about it. I don’t know what happened, why it happened,” she said – denying any involvement in how the sex tape came about and how it got released to the public. “I never, ever once had that conversation—nor did I want to have that conversation.”

A trailer for the new documentary shows Caitlyn Jenner calling Kim’s rise to success ‘calculated’ – she said, “Kimberly calculated, from the beginning, how do I become famous?” She received some criticism for her comment, but sources are saying it was edited to sound more controversial than it actually was.
