Pop sensation Britney Spears recently sent out a heartfelt message to the fans that supported her through the intense legal battle with her father, Jaime Spears. Although the journey was long, Jaime Spears has finally been suspended as conservator for the singer’s estate.
“#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction,” the 39-year-old songwriter said on Twitter. She additionally included, “I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it … “
“I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true,” the recently engaged singer continued.
The honorable judge Brenda Penny agreed last Wednesday to Britney’s request to suspend her father’s role in her conservatorship. Once requested, the role will be taken over by appointed CPA John Zabel. Penny argued that granting the request was, “in the best interest of the conservatee, which is my goal.“
“Terminating the entire conservatorship and looking into the misconduct of Jamie Spears and others,” is currently what Birney and her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, are working towards. According to PEOPLE, Rosengart went on to accuse Jaimie of stealing from his daughter and even shared, “[We’ll be] looking at communications between Jamie Spears and Jamie Spears’ counsel, and we will go where the facts lead us.”
Despite all of this, Jaime views his daughter’s freedom as a “loss” and claimed to still love her unconditionally. After the decision had been finalized, his legal team spoke out and offered the sentiments, “Respectfully, the court was wrong to suspend Mr. Spears, put a stranger in his place to manage Britney’s estate, and extend the very conservatorship that Britney begged the court to terminate earlier this summer. Despite the suspension, Mr. Spears will continue to look out for the best interests of his daughter and work in good faith towards a positive resolution of all matters.”

On the same day she shared her gratitude on Twitter, the pop star also took to Instagram to discuss wedding plans with her fiancé Sam Asghari. An essential part of making a wedding memorable is deciding the location of the event. Apparently, Britney and her fiancé are struggling to pick the perfect space for their union. Knowing that her fans are dedicated and want what’s best for her, Spears asked them where they think she should get married.
“We have a predicament, a really big problem right now. I have no idea where I want to get married. We don’t know if we want to get married in Italy or Greece, Australia or New York City,” the singer stated during an Instagram video. This prompted Asghari to ask his partner, “Why don’t you ask the fans?”
“Maybe I should ask the fans where we should get married, I think that is a very good idea,” she instantly responded. Spears then went on to ask in the caption of her video, “Psss where should we get married?”
