Instagram was the very platform Spears and Asghari announced their engagement. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, both Spears and Asghari look extremely happy in the series of videos Spears edited together announcing their engagement.

In the video, Asghari is heard saying, “Look at that,” before he asked Spears, “Do you like it?” To which Britney replies saying, “YES!”

Spears caption the videos saying, “I can’t f*cking believe it!!!” And her fans were so happy but also remained very protective of the pop star.

Many commenters, including actress Octavia Spencer, urged Spears to have Asghari sign a prenup before they say, “I do.” And according to a source, People reported that they already have one in the works.

Asghari hilariously responded to all those comments saying, “Thank you to everyone who is concerned about the prenup,” he wrote along with two crying-laughing emojis. “Of course, we’re getting an ironclad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”

Now, the couple is taking it all in. An additional source further told People that it was Spears’ idea to delete her Instagram.

She “is taking a break, as many celebrities do,” the source said. “It was her decision, and nothing else should be read into it. She is in a great place, legally and personally.”
