For years, pop icon Britney Spears‘ has battled with her father Jamie Spears for control of her estate. Now, she blames her father for not being able to see her two children more often.
Jamie recently appeared on CNN and admitted that he and his daughter have not spoken in months over the on-going battle of his conservatorship over her estate.

One of the main reasons the singer is not speaking with her dad is that she blames him for not getting to see her two children, Preston, 15, and Jayden, 14, more often.
“(Jamie) is the reason she has far less custodial time with her sons than she did before,” an insider told Us Weekly.
After an argument last year between Jamie and Preston, Britney lost 50/50 custody of the boys. Us Weekly reported that Preston locked himself in his room after arguing with his grandfather. Jamie reportedly forced himself into Preston’s room and proceeded to shake him. Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ ex husband and Preston’s father, took out a restraining order against Jamie after the incident.
After the incident, the custody arrangement between Federline and Britney was updated to be 70/30.
“The incident with Jamie and Preston changed everything,” the source told Us Weekly. “It was a major blow for Britney. She, Kevin, Preston, and Jayden have all seen Jamie differently ever since.”
The pop star filed to remove her father as her conservator in August, but was denied. As a result, Jamie continues to be in control of his daughter estimated $60 million fortune.
