In 1999, Beverly Hills, 90210 castmates Brian Austin Green and Vanessa Marcil started dating. The couple eventually got engaged and welcomed a son in 2002 before ending their two-year engagement in 2003. Now 20 years later, the two are still taking subtle shots at one another.
“I just heard that my ex [Marcil] was claiming I spent years taking her to court and asking for child support. How was I the Respondent then??? #factsisfacts #thetruthshallsetyoufree,” said Green via Instagram on Thursday, adding photo evidence of him listed as the respondent.
Green didn’t clarify where he heard the rumor or when Marcil supposedly made the claim, but it certainly appeared to trigger Green enough to respond on Instagram – considering their son, Kassius, is now 20 years old. Several news outlets reached out to Marcil, but to no response.

Brian Austin Green then took it a step further and shared a second photo on his Instagram – this one a group of child custody payments he sent Marcil between May 14, 2019 and April 28, 2020 totaling $39,000. One payment was more than $20,000 and another was more than $9,000.
“I’m a big boy. I can handle lies being made up about me as a person, but I take great pride in being a father and am tired of being talked about like I’m not. I love my kids and would do anything for them. #proudparentsstandup #dontletliarstakeyoureyeofftheball #receipts,” he said.
This isn’t the first time they’ve gone at one another on social media. In 2018, Marcil accused Green of cutting their child, Kassius, out of his life. At the time, she added that she spent nearly a decade ‘defending herself’ in court while Green asked for full custody and child support.
Fast forward to today, Brian Austin Green and Kassius Marcil-Green are starring opposite one another in a new film project called Rufus. Green described it as ‘such a great experience’ and has already shared several photos of them on set together – rare photos, might I add.
Brian Austin Green Talks Being a Father of Five – Maybe More?
A year after his split with Vanessa Marcil, Brian Austin Green started dating Megan Fox – he was 30 at the time, while she was 18. The couple engaged in 2006, but ended the engagement in 2009. They announced their second engagement in 2010 and wed just a few days later.
Over the next six years, the Green and Fox had three sons together – 2012, 2014, and 2016. They went through a split in 2015, reconciled in 2016, and officially divorced in 2020. They’ve been co-parenting ever since and are said to have a good relationship with one another.
In October 2020, Green began dating Sharna Burgess, a professional dancer, and the two have been together ever since. She made Green a father of five on June 28, 2022 when the couple had their first son together – that’s right, five children with three women and they’re all sons.
“I mean, I have five kids, and we joke about the fact that I had a I already had a station wagon [before Zane], so now I have [to get] a Yukon Denali. If I have another one, then I’m moving to like a school bus or something,” said Green in a July interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I think I’m done at five. I’m not saying never, you notice, I’m saying, ‘I think.’ And there’s a lot that can come from thinking. There’s a lot of room for change within that,” he continued, adding that he’s already ‘asking for a table of seven’ at restaurants and it can be ‘a little much’ at times.

In the ET interview, Green explained that while Megan Fox has met the newest addition to Green’s family, he didn’t mention whether Marcil has or hasn’t. Nonetheless, his three children with Fox seem to be ‘obsessed’ with the baby brother, according to Sharna Burgess.
