Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been working Senior members of the Royal family since 2020 when they stepped down from their roles and moved to California where they continue to raise their two children.

Shortly after their departure, both Prince Harry and Meghan sat down with Oprah for a massive tell-all interview. The couple didn’t hold back when it came to how the Royal family mistreated them during their relationship and how their cries for help fell on deaf ears.

As a result, Prince Harry’s once super tight relationship with his family fractured. And it’s been reported that it’s Harry’s relationship with his beloved older brother, Prince William that took the biggest hit.

While it’s unclear if the once rather close brothers will ever fix their relationship, and while we certainly hope they do, it’s believed that Meghan Markle is the one attempting to extend an olive branch.

As it was seen by millions of people, Prince William was reportedly the first to extend the olive branch to Harry and Meghan when he asked them to join him and Kate Middleton to great mourners outside Buckingham Palace following the Queen’s passing.

Now, as Marie Claire reports, before leaving England following the funeral, Meghan allegedly wrote her father-in-law King Charles III to ask for a private conversation. Reports suggest Markle wanted to “clear the air.”

A source told OK that Meghan reportedly wanted the talk to occur sometime after the Queen’s funeral, which took place on Monday, September 19. “That’s right—Meghan one-to-one with King Charles,” reporter Neil Sean said, according to the outlet. “You heard correct. It’s a very brave move from Meghan herself.”

Sean continued to say that Meghan allegedly wanted to “explain some of the rationale behind what [she and Harry] have been doing over the last two years. Now, you know, you have to admire Meghan’s self-belief, whatever you think.”

What remains unclear is if the talk ever took place. It’s believed that Meghan and Harry are now back in California with their two children.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, eagle-eyed viewers who observed Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on September 19 noticed a sweet moment between Prince Harry and his only niece, Princess Charlotte.

As it’s been reported time and time again, Prince Harry’s relationship with his family has been rocky over the last couple of years. However, following the death of his grandmother, both sides of the issue came together as a show of unity in honor of the Queen’s legacy and life.

Now reports are revealing a quick but tender moment shared between Prince Harry and Princess Charlotte as they sat next to each other at their grandmother’s funeral.

During the second service for the Queen, which took place at St. George’s Chapel, the same place where Harry and Meghan Markle wed in 2018, cameras caught Harry and his 7-year-old niece sharing a glance and a smile at each other during the service.

A source told Us Weekly back in May that Prince Harry misses Kate and William’s kids “very much” and that “they’re extremely fond of him also.” The source continued to say that despite the drama, Charlotte looks up to her Uncle Harry as one of “her role models.”

As we mentioned earlier in this article, William and Harry shocked people shortly after news of the Queen’s passing on September 8 when the Royal brothers appeared together outside of Buckingham palace alongside their lovely wives to observe the memorial created by commoners in mourning over the Queen’s passing.

The images captured of the foursome marked their first time together in quite some time. According to reports, Kensington Palace revealed William invited his brother and sister-in-law to join him and his wife as they greeted those outside the palace.

“Prince William thought the walkabout to greet the crowds “was an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family,” a royal source told People.

“It’s such an extraordinary historical moment and also a deeply personal one for the family that you’d hope and think that all members of the family would unite and support [the King] especially. And perhaps some of those wounds can be healed in the process.”

Now, a royal insider is claiming that the once-fabulous foursome has “struck a truce” amongst each other. However, when it comes to the trust they once shared, that is no longer there.

“It’s really hard to spend time with someone, or even to speak openly when you know they’re writing a book about you and giving interviews. The trust is gone right now,” the insider told The Telegraph.
