In a statement provided by Joshua Stephany, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola Counties, “An autopsy was performed this morning on Robert Lane Saget. Mr. Saget is a 65-year-old male, who was found unresponsive in his hotel room.”

People also reported that Saget’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, is in shock over the news of her husband’s passing. According to a source, “Kelly is in shock and processing everything, but appreciative and touched by the outpouring of love from friends, family, his peers, and fans.”
Saget and Rizzo were first introduced to each other in 2015. They got engaged in 2017 and married in October 2018.
Rizzo used Instagram to honor their three-year wedding anniversary this past October.
Additionally, while Saget’s Full House co-stars each shared their own personal statement, they also shared a joint statement as well.
“Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family. Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls, and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob,” the statement was signed, “John, Dave, Candace, Jodie, Lori, Andrea, Scott, Jeff, Ashley, and Mary-Kate.”
A devastating loss.
