How do they find the time for it all? That’s the question we ask ourselves when we think about Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
Both Blake and Ryan are successful actors, they are both entrepreneurs, and collectively they own more companies than we can count! Oh, and let’s not forget their most important roles, parents to their three children.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Just Made a Surprise Announcement and Everyone Is Shocked
Scratch that, FOUR children! Yep, Lively and Reynolds revealed on September 15 that they are expecting their fourth child together sometime early next year!
In 2014, Lively once said, “If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.” Well, she’s well on her way now that she’s preparing to become a momma of four!

“I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders,” Lively later joked two years ago while a guest on the Today Show. “You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.”
According to E! News, the 35-year-old announced that they were expecting their 4th child while attending the Forbes Power Women’s Summit on September 15. She slyly confirmed her pregnancy while on a panel, saying, “I just like to create. Whether that’s baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating.”
Lively also gushed about becoming a mom to Forbes back in May 2022. She said, “Having children for me made me feel so much more in my skin. I never felt more myself or at ease in my own body or more confident—not to say that there aren’t a bevy of insecurities coming at me a million times a day, but I just feel incredibly settled.”
Currently, Lively and Reynolds are parents to three beautiful little girls, Inez, James, and Betty. And while the couple are some of the most famous people in the world, they have managed to successfully raise their first three children away from the spotlight.
“Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had,” she explained to Marie Claire back in 2016 when talking about keeping their kids away from the public eye. “We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had because then we’d feel really selfish.”
What neither Lively nor Reynolds have revealed yet is just how far along Blake is or if this little one will be the couple’s first son. Only time will tell in that department.
