Bindi Irwin celebrated a big milestone of her pregnancy recently – she’s now halfway through! The excited first-time mom shared an update on her Instagram, posing with her husband, Chandler Powell.
Several emus are hanging out behind the couple in the photo. “Our baby girl is about the same size as a recently hatched emu chick,” Bindi wrote in the caption. “The love I have for my sweetheart husband and our beautiful daughter is boundless.”

In the photo, the new mom is rocking maternity overalls while sweetly snuggling up to her husband. The couple got married on March 25 and first announced their baby news in August with a sweet pic.
The Crikey! It’s the Irwins star received lots of love from fans after posting the photo, including a sweet note from the Australia Zoo.
“Beyond excited for you guys!,” they wrote. “You’re going to be incredible parents. Can’t wait to meet Baby Wildlife Warrior next year.”
Bindi, the daughter of Steve and Terri Irwin, inherited the Zoo from her family, the original “Wildlife Warriors.”
Bindi also recently shared news of her other baby – “Creating a Conservation Legacy,” her new book about the Australia Zoo’s 50-year history.
“Almost 5 years in the making. Looking through countless archives, Dad’s old journals, Australia Zoo booklets and photographs tucked away in office corners,” she wrote in the caption after sharing the exciting news on Instagram. “It’s finally here. I wrote this book to capture the very essence of our extraordinary 50 year history.”
