Anna Duggar is no stranger to parenting controversy. The latest criticism of the Counting On star comes after she posted photos from a family trip to Instagram.
The mom-of-six shared sweet snaps of her kiddos visiting their grandparents’ house and followers were quick to call out how different the girls’ experience seemed to be from the boys’. “Nerf-gun wars & legos have kept us entertained this weekend! [I] hope you’re having as much fun as we are having at Pops & Lolli’s house!” Anna shared.

Her and Josh Duggar‘s three girls are shown posing for a photo, while the boys are clearly having a blast with their Nerf toys and Legos. And as Cafe Mom reports, one fan was quick to comment, “Did the girls get to play too?” While another one was a bit more subtle, “Hope Mackenzie and Meredith got some LEGO time too! Such a good learning tool.”

And although some shared the concern that the girls were kept from the fun and were being forced to care for their infant sister Maryella, others came to Anna’s defense. Fortunately, while pictures are often worth a thousand words, these photos told the wrong story.
“Chill out. She shared just a couple pictures…one of each child. I’m sure she thought it was cute to see all three of her little girls together. Stop ruining it for her!” added one fan.
Then Anna herself jumped in on the thread, adding, “Yes! My girls played in the nerf wars yesterday, they are super competitive and have a good aim – so look out!”
