Amy Schumer Gets Blunt About Her Sex Life, Plans to Have Another Baby, and So More

While a guest on The Howard Stern Show, Amy Schumer was her usual blunt self, and fans couldn’t be more grateful for that. From her sex life to her and her husband’s plan to expand their family, Schumer didn’t hold back and that’s what people love about her.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Schumer and Chris Fischer started trying for baby number two not long after welcoming their first child, Gene David, into the world in May 2019. However, while attempting to bring a second child into the world, Schumer had to undergo a round of IVF and also endured an egg retrieval procedure.

Now, with Howard Stern, Schumer is talking about where she’s at in that particular process, among other things. While saying that she’s hopeful about expanding her family, COVID-19 has put a bit of a pause in her plans.

“We got these embryos but right now, we were going to try and make a move, and COVID happened,” Schumer explained. “Every Mother Counts is amazing. Every expectant mother can go there and have questions answered.”

Every Mother Counts was started in 2010 by Christy Turlington Burns after she dealt with her own set of pregnancy and birth complications “to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for everyone, everywhere.”

The comedian herself also dealt with pregnancy complications and birth complications while pregnant with Gene, which included acute morning sickness known as hyperemesis gravidarum and a three-hour c-section.

As she explained to Stern, “It’s scary because you can’t nourish the baby or yourself. If you’ve ever had food poisoning, it’s true that for nine and a half months,” Amy revealed. “Seriously, once you meet your baby, you’re like oh my god! I would have been sick like that for 10 years just to meet you for an hour.”

Schumer also got real about her very first parenting fail.

As Mamas Uncut reported, her son’s original name was a big misunderstanding. “It never dawned on me. All the blood rushed to my head. Everyone was saying, ‘I don’t think it’s a big deal.’ I’m like what are you talking about?” Amy shared after naming her son Gene Attell, before changing it to Gene David, after learning his original middle name sounded like genital when you said it all together. “Everybody gave me credit but no. It was a huge f**k up. The first of many failures, right out of the gate.”

And then Schumer opened up about her and Chris’s sex life, which she considers to be healthy. “Chris went down on me the other day…” Amy shared during the conversation. “We’re having sex once a week and feeling very good about that. It’s good. And we go, ‘This is great. We should do this more’ and we still only do once a week.”

Fischer and Schumer are currently staying at a friend’s home in Martha’s Vineyard.
