Recently engaged star of Little People Big World, Amy Roloff, revealed in late December that she’s planning on moving her upcoming wedding from 2020 to 2021. This comes as a shock because the couple got engaged in September and had planned to be wed in early 2020.

According to reporting from Radar, the reality TV star told fans on Facebook live that she’s delaying her wedding to Chris Marek for an entire year. Does that spell trouble for Amy and Chris or are they merely finding the perfect place and time for their special day?

In a Facebook like video, Amy casually stated that her wedding plans had been interrupted and the date would be pushed to 2021.

On December 22nd, Amy and her best friend Lisa Dixon appeared together on a Facebook live video for a chat. There, she casually dropped the bomb that her wedding was being pushed back a year.

The confession took Lisa by surprise and she said, “I thought you had a date picked out for next year?” She was under the impression the couple were still tying the knot in 2020.

“Oh no, that wasn’t going to work, no way, so 2021 is when it’s going to happen,” Amy replied.

Apparently, Christmas shopping hadn’t left Roloff with funds for a wedding.

In the Facebook live broadcast, Amy said, “There’s like no money left in my bank account, the money is literally flying out the doors!”

We can fully relate! Recouping money after the holidays is always a struggle. And on top of that, Amy also just moved into a new home which probably wasn’t cheap. In a Christmas post on Instagram, Amy said, “Chris and I celebrated Christmas in the new house! New memories and adventure together. What a change to be someplace new. And I’ll look forward to making dinner and having most of my kids and grandkids over!”

We’ll have to wait an entire year before we get to see Amy walk down the aisle.

Fans who were hoping to see Amy get hitched on this season of Little People Big World will have to wait until next year. Although being patient isn’t fun, Amy did drop a clue about the honeymoon, saying, “I know Chris wants to go snorkeling, so somewhere warm.”
