In October 2019, model and influencer Amber Rose became a mom of two after she and her boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The couple named their son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. Rose also has a 6-year-old son, Sabastian, with rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Shortly after Slash’s birth, Rose took to Instagram again, sharing with her followers that she was preparing to undergo a round of liposuction. In the video, she explained that her doctor, Dr. Matlock, was going to take care of her entire body, including sucking out “all of the baby fat.”

Her honesty garnered a lot of feedback. Some commenters wrote, “I wasn’t even aware that you can undergo liposuction so soon after giving birth. Can you breastfeed when u get surgery?” And several more that begged the question, “WHY NOT WORKOUT?”
Amber Rose Says Liposuction Is Just a Head Start
Two months later, the mom of two took to her Instagram again, seemingly in response to some of the haters on her original post. Rose shared a video of her and her trainer in the gym.
She wrote, “Shout out to my personal trainer Deyanira Delarosa of Intense Fitness. Liposuction ain’t sh*t but a head start. I still have to workout like an animal and eat right.”
Rose went on to explain, “I was 224 lbs when I had Slash 3 months ago now I’m 187. 155 is my happy weight at 5′ 9″, so I have a ways to go.”
And many of her followers encouraged the model toward her goals and more appreciated her continued honesty. One person wrote, “Appreciate the honesty in this post !! You will definitely hit the goal!!”
And another added, “I love how honest you are about your procedures and how you actually have to work out and eat good even though you had surgery.” The mom of two then went on to share a series of photos of Slash taking a name on her chest.

She captioned the photos, “My Lil Pretty Boy.” So sweet.
