Amber Portwood has had a dramatic year. After being arrested for allegedly assaulting her then-boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, in July she and her ex are now currently fighting in court over custody of their son James, 1.
According to their custody agreement, the Teen Mom star is supposed to have James three times a week. However, Amber is now asking the court to hold Andrew is contempt because he is allegedly preventing Amber from seeing James, according to RadarOnline.
Amber Portwood Says Andrew Glennon Has Violated Their Custody Agreement
Amber filed an Information and Verified Motion for Rule to Show Cause at Marion Circuit Court last Wednesday. She claims that her ex has “denied Mother all parenting time since October 22, 2019,” in defiance of their custody agreement.

“Father’s failure to communicate or schedule parenting time is Violation of Paragraph 1(c) of the Mediated Agreement,” the papers continued.
Amber claims that the exes agreed she would have time with James on Halloween, though Andrew “failed to communicate with Mother in person or through counsel to allow Mother to exercise her holiday parenting time.”

Amber’s attorneys reached out twice to Glennon with no response. Per the no-contact order, the couple is not allowed to communicate directly, only through attorneys or a special app. In the court papers filed, Amber shares a screenshot showing that Andrew has not set up an account on the app so they are not able to communicate through that platform.
Per their agreement, the couple is also not allowed to speak negatively about one another in the presence of James. However, Andrew posted a video on YouTube in which he made negative comments about Amber.
Because of the above, Amber has asked that Andrew be held in contempt of court, in addition to requesting that she get to make up the time with James that she missed. She also asks that Andrew be responsible for paying her attorney fees.
A day ahead of Amber’s filing, Andrew filed a Request for Striking Panel which the court approved. The couple was asked to mutually agree on a parenting coordinator, and Andrew claims they were unable to do so. Andrew asked for “a striking panel to facilitate same” which was approved.
