Week 29 |
What should you expect in Week 29?
  • With just 11 weeks ago, things are getting real!
  • And because your baby is getting bigger, you’re likely feeling your little one move more often!
  • Between their hiccups and their kicks and jabs, it could almost feel nonstop!
  • And your baby is already around 2 and a half to 3 pounds! WOW!
  • In the next 11 weeks, they’ll double or triple in weight!
  • Another fun fact, your baby likely smiled for the first time this week! Probably while he or she was sleeping!
  • You’ve also probably been counting kicks over the last couple of weeks, that is something you should continue to do!
  • According to What to Expect, if you count fewer than 10 movements within a two hour period, you should notify your doctor. “Better safe than sorry.”
  • You may also start to notice your nails growing faster than usually in combination with constipation, hemorrhoids, pregnancy brains, and the others we mentioned in previous weeks!
  • Lastly, your great may start to leak a fluid known as colostrum! So you may need to buy breast pads soon!
