Every bride is different and most want their weddings to reflect their own personal style. Twenty-three-year-old Paige Kirk, from Sydney, Australia, took it to a whole new level when she decided to walk down the aisle with a bouquet of donuts instead of roses.
Yes, you read that right: a doughnut bouquet!

Perhaps the most relatable bride in wedding history, Paige and her husband told the BBC that the doughnuts would be, “Different, fun, and lighthearted.”
In a surprise move, Paige switched out her bridesmaid’s floral bouquets with frosted donuts as well. The donuts were decorated with a white icing that matched her dress. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder and a bouquet of doughnuts does much more for us than any lily would.
The doughnuts were provided by Dessert Boxes, an Australian company that wants to give bridal parties something to chew on. Paige was the company’s first bride to walk the aisle with their doughnut arrangements.
“Everyone thought it was hilarious,” Paige added.
“We wanted the wedding to be a bit different and really reflect who we are as a couple,” Paige explained. And after three years of marriage, we’d say the couple is really savoring life together.
We hope this isn’t the last doughnut bouquet we see. In fact, more food bouquets, please. And, keep getting weird at weddings.
