The moment has finally arrived. After getting to know each other while judges on NBC’s The Voice, to helping each other through their respective divorces, to eventually falling in love, and the whole world getting to witness their flirty ways on national television, one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples are finally engaged.
On October 27, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani took to their respective Instagram pages to let their fans and the rest of the world know that their relationship is real and their love is forever. In other words, Shelton asked Stefani to marry him and he heard her say, “yes!”

Both Stefani and Shelton shared the same photo, one that shows the two of them sharing a passionate kiss while Stefani holds up her left hand to show off her new bling. Stefani captioned the photo, “Yes, please!” While Shelton wrote, “Hey, Gwen Stefani, thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life… I love you. I heard a YES!”
How dang sweet are these two? And their The Voice colleagues were quick to share their congratulatory messages on Instagram as well.
“AMAZING,” John Legend wrote. “Congratulations to you both!!” While fellow singer Dua Lipa quipped, “I guess our little interview aged well!!!!!! Congratulations!!! Best news!”
Lipa is referencing the moment in time when she was guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live and interviewed Stefani on the show this past August. During the interview, Lipa accidentally called Shelton Stefani’s husband while asking about how they are spending their time together in quarantine.
Stefani corrected Lipa at the time, considering Shelton was still just her boyfriend. But now, sometime in the near future, Shelton will in fact be the singer’s husband.
Stefani has three children from her first marriage to rocker Gavin Rossdale. Shelton has been married twice before, most notably to fellow country superstar, Miranda Lambert. However, Shelton does not have any biological children.

It’s unclear if Stefani and Shelton will grow their family once they become husband and wife. But we hope they do!
