But parents are doing their best while juggling family life, working as well as studying.
The survey of 2,000 American parents of school-aged children, conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Sittercity, took a by-the-numbers approach looking at the challenges of this past school year.

For families with members who are both working and schooling from home, six wifi resets per week and four “in-class” snack requests per day are the new normal.
The average parent has disturbed their child’s studies an average of six times since the start of the school year.
“Pajama day,” allegedly happens an average of five times during each week among those families who are both working and schooling from home.
In addition, the survey also looked at many family’s childcare plans in the event that remote schooling should continue for the remainder of the school year.
The average parent states how their child’s school has already cycled through four different plans for the school year, which makes planning for childcare difficult, to say the least.
More than half of those children who learn from home reveal that schooling has caused their family to go into a childcare crisis.
