According to an insider with reported knowledge of the custody situation between exes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Pitt is hoping to have his six children overnight while celebrating the holidays with them. However, as the insider also revealed—despite Pitt’s wants—”holiday visitation had been set before the custody trial.”
So what does that mean? It was allegedly agreed upon by him and Jolie that he would have their children for Christmas Day, US Weekly reports. It’s unclear if Pitt would like to have them stay at his house on Christmas Eve or the night of December 25.

Brad Pitt Hopes to Have His Kids Overnight for the Holidays
“Brad will see the children on Christmas Day. He is hoping that he will be given increased custodial time with the kids which would result in having them overnight for the holidays this year,” the insider explained. “The decision will be made by the judge in November.”
Brad Pitt and Jolie have been divorced since 2016. And according to US Weekly, they have been in a custody battle ever since.
“Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids. Angelina has been unagreeable to those terms. [She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic].”
Together, the famous actors are the parents of 16-year-old Pax, 15-year-old Zahara, 14-year-old Shiloh, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, whom they share custody of. Their oldest Maddox is 19.

Back in September, another insider told US Weekly that the family is no longer going to therapy as a family and that Jolie’s top priority through these custody hearings is to “protect the kids and the health of the family. In the end, she is going to do what’s best for the children as she has done all along.”
