Comedic genius Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their son, Gene Attell, on Sunday, May 5, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for our favorite new parents. Schumer always kept it candid (and kept us laughing) throughout her difficult pregnancy (we’re looking at you, hyperemesis gravidarum!), and she shows no signs of stopping now that she’s a first-time mom.
There is no doubt that Schumer’s life as a mom will make for rather rich stand-up material, and we are going to be here for every second of it. Let us now turn to Schumer’s Instagram, where she has been continuously sharing funny, super-real photos from her life as a new mother.
New Mom Schumer Sends Love to the Haters
Schumer shared this phenomenal pumping photo as a way of saying “thanks” for all of the mom-shaming comments she received after performing stand-up on stage at the Comedy Cellar.
Schumerpump Rules
This funny mama is never one to shy away from a less-than-glam moment. We can especially relate to her recent double-pump, all-consuming evening plans.
MILF Alert!
We’re still LOLing over this Mother’s Day photo, showing Schumer on the toilet, glaring at her sister Kim, who is sweetly holding baby Gene.
Doula Love
We couldn’t possibly agree more with the comedian’s recent declaration that “Women are f*cking warriors” as she gave a shout-out to her doula, Domino Kirke.
Schumer’s Boys
Bursting with pride, brand new mom Amy Schumer shared a snap of new dad Chris looking like a complete natural with their brand new baby Gene just moments after he arrived.
The Other Royal Baby
A prince in his own right, baby Gene was welcomed into the world just hours before that other royal arrival.
Stay tuned for more from new mom Amy Schumer and baby Gene, and let us know if you find Schumer as funny as we do by sounding off in the comments!
