Rapper Iggy Azalea is officially a mom! While there has been plenty of pregnancy rumors swirling around Azalea regarding whether or not she secretly became a mom, the rapper officially issued a statement about her son on June 10.
Although the new mom has shut down the rumors multiple times in the past, the 30-year-old has finally decided to open up about the birth of her son. While she didn’t share the exact date of his birth or his name, it’s clear in her brief statement that she’s madly in love with her baby boy.

“I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world. I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret. And I love him beyond words.”
Based on her statement, it seems as though the world won’t be getting a glimpse of Azalea’s little boy any time soon. According to CNN, the new mom has been dating fellow rapper Playboi Carti since 2018.
It is believed the pair is still together and Carti is believed to be the father. Azalea is known for keeping her own private life private as well and took a five-month social media hiatus from December 2019 to May 2020, presumably because she was pregnant.
Most recently, Azalea shared a photo of her quarantined 30th birthday celebration.

Briefly, in 2019, Carti talked about his relationship with Azalea in an interview with Fader magazine. “Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,” he told Fader magazine. “It was over with.”
