Professional baseball player Mike Trout and his wife Jessica Cox are expecting their first child together and he couldn’t be happier. The Los Angeles Angels center fielder took to Twitter to share the big news with fans in a heartwarming video.
“Baby Trout due August 2020!!” wrote Trout. “I don’t even know where to begin….from seeing your heartbeat for the first time to seeing you dance around in mommy’s belly… we are truly blessed and this is only the beginning!!”

The video shows the mama-to-be right after taking two positive pregnancy tests and the moment she tells her husband the news. In the video, Jessica shares a note that reads, “We have one more blessing to count. I’m pregnant.”

The high school sweethearts also hosted a gender reveal party, where they found out that they are expecting a baby boy. The sweet video also features ultrasounds and moments from their maternity photo shoot.
“Little man, you have the best mommy already and I can’t wait to be your dad!” the proud soon-to-be papa shared on Twitter. “We are so humbled by this gift God has given us. We love you already, buddy!!”
Jessica publically gushed in a social media post, as well. And she also expressed the gratitude she has for her husband.
