Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her fourth child, but it hasn’t all been stress-free so far. The Teen Mom 2 star got candid on Twitter about experiencing more anxiety during this pregnancy than she had during her previous three.
“Has anyone experienced more anxiety about something going wrong in a pregnancy after their first?” she wrote on Twitter. “I feel like I can’t enjoy this at all.”

She talked about her anxiety again on Instagram a few days later, adding that “things have been so different this time around.” The 28-year-old wrote, “Things have been so different this time around. It’s weird knowing the sex of this baby and trying to solidify a name so he doesn’t go nameless like Lux did. [Plus] my anxiety is through the roof. I’m scared of doing anything wrong. What is your experience with pregnancy?”
Lowry is currently a mom of three sons, 10-year-old Elliot Rivera, 6-year-old Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, and 2-year-old Lux Russell Lowry. The mom revealed she was expecting a fourth child on February 4.
Lowry is expecting her second baby boy later this summer with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Chris Lopez, who also fathered her youngest child, Lux. She’s been open about the fact that this pregnancy has been a bit more challenging.
“Baby No. 4 is coming soon! I’m about 16 weeks pregnant and it’s been a rough few months this time around,” she said when she shared the news via Instagram. “I’ve had nausea, morning sickness and absolutely no energy. This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way!”
Fans shared their support for Lowry after she expressed her worry. “It’s because you’re a great mother,” one fan wrote. “Mothers worry. No matter how many times they’ve done this. May peace fill your heart and soul.”
This will be Lowry’s fourth son. She admitted that she felt it in her bones when she learned she was pregnant, despite a lot of her friends and co-stars hoping for a girl.
