Watch: This Mom Recorded Her Husband, Who Clearly Doesn’t Have Much Experience, Changing Their Son’s Diaper, and It Is Absolutely Hilarious

Dads sometimes get a bad rap about their ability – or lack thereof – to change diapers. One dad recently got a hard time not just from his wife, but from strangers all over the internet after a video of him attempting to change his child’s diaper made it online and went viral.

In the video, dad Phil is seen trying to change his son Axel’s diaper and he is just having a hell of a time. “It’s not funny,” he exclaims at one point to his son as he’s attempting to change his poop-filled diaper.

That doesn’t stop Axel from wiggling around the changing table as his dad tries to hold him still and wipe him clean. Phil looks to have a particularly hard time dealing with the stench of his son’s diaper gift, making him even more determined to change the diaper as quickly as possible.

Phil’s wife, Mikayla, took the video and posted it online, noting, “obviously Phil doesn’t change very many diapers lol.”

Though Phil is ultimately successful in changing his son’s diaper, Axel did not give in easily. Near the end of the video, he can be seen doing a headstand while a wipe is stuck to his rear end. Phil yells, “Help me!” to his wife, who allows him to finish up the project on his own. Perhaps after mastering that difficult technique, Phil is now changing more diapers. Either that or Phil and Mikayla are planning for some early planning training.

The video, which was uploaded about two weeks ago, has amassed a whopping 50 million views, more than 1.1 million shares, and more than 600,000 comments.
