Beloved TikToker Taylor Rousseau Grigg dead at 25, cause of death revealed: ‘Always brought joy’

Update on Oct. 10: TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s cause of death has been revealed.

According to Today, Grigg died on Oct. 4 from complications related to asthma and Addison’s disease, a representative for her family told the news outlet.

As the Mayo Clinic reports, “Addison’s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon illness that occurs when the body doesn’t make enough of certain hormones. In Addison’s disease, the adrenal glands make too little cortisol and, often, too little of another hormone, aldosterone. Addison’s disease can affect anyone and can be life-threatening.”

In an August TikTok, Grigg shared that she had once been an athletic person, but was no longer healthy or in good shape, and “hadn’t been in a longtime.”

Grigg’s said she fell ill after marrying her husband in August 2023. “You’re seeing me be sick for the whole time that we’re married and not finding out what was wrong until this year … I barely found out what was wrong with me. I was struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die,” she explained.

“It just sucks because I’m 24 years old, I should be in my prime, I should be able to carry my suitcase up the stairs, I should be able to walk to the mailbox, or run, and those are just things that I can’t really do right now.”

And even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever,” Cameron continued.

“She doesn’t owe anyone anything. But she would want everyone to know that she’s more than ok. While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace.”

Cameron said he “clings to the fact of knowing that we will be seeing her again! And we will be able to spend all of eternity together!”
