Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars is in full bloom, and already two celebrities have been eliminated.
There have also been a fair share of viral moments already, including one from Anna Delvey while talking to Julianne Hough after learning that she had been voted off the show.
When asked what she would be taking away from her time on DWTS, Delvey offered a swift, one-word response: “Nothing.” Stunned by the honesty, Hough replied, “There you have it!”

Even Delvey’s dance partner, Ezra Sosa, was surprised by the response, though he quickly laughed it off.
Delvey and Sosa scored a 17 for their Week 2: Oscars Night performance, which included a quickstep routine to “Suddenly I See” by KT Tunstall, a song from the Oscar-nominated film The Devil Wears Prada.
The performance brought their two-week score to a 35, the lowest of all contestants, after scoring a 17 for their Week 1: Premiere cha-cha-cha routine to “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter.
Tori Spelling and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, were also voted off on Tuesday with a score of 36.
Fans were curious to see what Delvey would bring to the show
The decision to invite Delvey onto the show was questioned by fans from the very beginning. Many were curious to see what she would bring to the dance floor, and how she would treat the experience.
In fact, Derek Hough is one of those who was engulfed by the mystery.
He explained as much in an interview with E! News after the first week of dances. “If I’m honest with you, even after last night, I was like, ‘I don’t quite understand you yet,'” he said. “But I want to know more.”
Of course, that’s what so many people, including Hough, enjoy about the show.
“It gives you a little bit of everything,” the 39-year-old former DWTS pro said. “It gives you that curiosity. There’s something in the show for everybody. So there might be somebody out there that wants that.”
Delvey knew the experience would take her out of her comfort zone
Speaking with E! News after the show’s premiere on Sept. 17, Delvey explained that joining DWTS was taking her out of her comfort zone, but she’s happy to be learning so much from the experience.
“I’m not a performer, so it’s something new,” Anna shared at the time. “I learned a lot and hopefully I’ll learn a lot moving forward.”
For those who don’t know her story, Delvey was convicted on eight charges, including grand larceny, in 2019 for posing as a German heiress and swindling people and institutions out of more than $200,000.
