Becoming a mom of two has not slowed down Paris Hilton. And the internet starlet is sharing videos from her family’s recent travels.
On TikTok, Hilton made a video of her 19-month-old son Phoenix smiling while exploring “the Sunreef catamaran,” writing that watching her son “explore the world has been so special to me!”
However, while the video was adorable, fans grew concerned when they saw Phoenix roaming around open waters without a lifejacket on. And fellow moms were quick to voice their concerns.
“Momma, please have him wear a life jacket always on a boat!! Stuff happens. That’s why they’re called accidents. With love,” one comment read.
“Please from one mom to another.. life jacket!” another mom shared.
“My anxiety not seeing him in a life jacket! Can never be too safe on the water,” said another.
Hilton responded to the concerned comments with a statement. “Hey Mammas, thank you for the advice and always caring about my #CutesieCrew,” she began.
“It’s a big boat and my husband and I are following him around everywhere and watching like hawks. My babies are my world!”
Several fans responded to Hilton’s statement praising her for being a great mom and reassuring her that she knows best.
Hilton is no stranger to putting her son in floaties around water. In fact, Hilton responded to social media comments back in May when they alerted her to using the floatation device wrong.
“Hey momma just a tip from another puddle jumper mom i think it’s on backwards,” one commenter wrote. “But I love this video pure joy.”
And similarly, Hilton took the constructive criticism gracefully.
“Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. Thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from and they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know,” she responded at the time.
While others suggested getting rid of the puddle jumper altogether. “Swimming teacher here, see if you can swap the puddle jumper for a float jacket. Gives him the use of his arms to aide his swim journey.”
