When it comes to Mother’s Day gifts we often think of the classics, flowers, candles, chocolates, etc. But Tori Spelling is admitting she likes to do things her own way.
And her kids now know her well enough to know exactly what she wants.
In the latest episode of her podcast, misSpelling, Tori revealed that unconventional Mother’s Day gift her kids got her, which has become a tradition for her and some of her friends.
“My kids surprised me with a very unmother’s day celebration which was very ME! Dim Sum & Dermals hear all about it as I surprise my best friend,” Tori wrote on Instagram
While talking with her friend, Jess Amer, the pair explained that they often get new piercings each year while celebrating Mother’s Day. However, this year, the piercing Tori decided to get has Jess and other saying, “ouch.”
As Tori showed the camera, she got four dermal piercings, two on her left and two of her right hips. The procedure left her bruised and she’s still healing.
She shared photos of their time at the piercing studio and while eating Dim Sum with all of her kids with her.
Tori is mom to five children, Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau, all of whom she shares with her estranged husband Dean McDermott.
Tori and Dean filed for divorce in March after 18 years of marriage.
Tori announced that she filed for divorce on her podcast, sharing a recording of the phone she made to Dean to let him know that she had taken the first step toward legally ending their marriage.
As for the reason for their divorce, Spelling cited irreconcilable differences and asked for “sole physical custody” of their five minor children.
