A beloved friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s is demanding an apology. The anger comes after renowned photographer Misan Harriman was called out by The Daily Mail and Telegraph.
The article by the Telegraph was posted only six hours ago. The bases of the article slammed Meghan Markle for being a “hypocrite” alleging that the photo she and Harry used to announce their second pregnancy was also edited and doctored.
The vitriol comes from an alleged “source” who claimed that Meghan was also criticizing Princess Catharine following her photoshop snafu.
Now, Misan is proving that the photo shared by the Sussexes wasn’t edited in any way. And that the only “doctoring” done to the photo was overlaying it with a black and white filter.
The photographer posted the original photo on Instagram, including the meta data as well.
Despite reports of “sources,” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not commented on either ordeal publicly. So it’s truly unclear who they feel about it all.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Princess Catharine shared a photo of herself with her kids in honor of Mother’s Day. It was also the first photo shared of Catharine since undergoing abdominal surgery.
Shortly after the posting the photo, the Associated Press issued a kill notification pointing out the photo revealed inconsistencies leading the organization to believe the photo had been altered.
In a statement, the Princess admitted to editing the photo but claiming her doing so was not nefarious in anyway.
“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day,” again signing the statement, “C.”
