WC
You’ve likely seen the abbreviation “WC” before when using a public restroom. But not a lot of people know what it actually means.
According to Plumbworld, “WC” actually stands for “water closet,” a term used back in the early 1900s for a toilet. Now, in the modern world, “WC” is often used to indicate a bathroom with a toilet but no bath.

TL;DR
“TL;DR” is an abbreviation mostly seen on social media, specifically forum type websites. And it’s often seen at the bottom of a long post.
“TL; DR” stands for “too long, didn’t read,” and many forum users use the abbreviation at the end of the long post to indicate for readers that if you don’t have time to ready their lengthy, detailed description, they are about to “make a long story short.”
IMO
“IMO” is an abbreviation you may see in text messages with friends, co-workers, and family members. It stands for “in my opinion.”
Some people like to add an “H” to this abbreviation to say, “in my humble opinion,” or “IMHO.”
RSVP
“RSVP” is a pretty common abbreviation many people have seen in their lifetime. But do you actually know what it stands for? “RSVP” actually stands for the French phrase, “Répondez, s’il vous plaît” which translates to “please reply” in English.
AM/PM
Similarly to “RSVP,” AM and PM have latin roots. “AM” stands for “ante meridiem” or “before noon.” “PM” stands for “post meridiem” or “after noon.”
TMI
“TMI” means “too much information.”
IKR
“IKR” mean “I know, right?”
OOO
“OOO” means “out of office.”
EOD
“EOD” means “end of day.”

“AFAIK” stands for “as far as I know.”

“OFC,” often seen as “ofc” stands for “of course.”
