When two siblings are close, the bond between a brother and sister is unique. It’s the only person, or people, in the world who — for the most part — completely understand what you’re going through.
They basically lived the same life as you and because of that, they can be some of the most understanding people when the going gets rough. Just take this little boy and his big sister for example.

Little Brother Can’t Hold Back Tears for Big Sister in Viral Video
As a video shared by Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network, a lot of times when your sibling is unhappy, you’re unhappy too. For example when Walter saw that his big sister Evie was upset “over a tablet,” he couldn’t help but feel for her too.
Watch the video below for yourself:
In the video, Walter’s mom has to keep reassuring him that his big sis is just fine as he can’t help himself but feel empathetic towards Evie and cry with her.
The video garnered over 2.6 million views with thousands of people commenting on the video. One commenter wrote, “My Jr with Downs is the oldest of 5 and always there for his siblings esp his baby brother Myles.. This is when Myles got his 12months shot and Myles only wanted big brother after his shots…
Another person said, “My goodness!! What a sweetie!! He doesn’t want his sister to be upset!! What a special and precious bond!!! My two love each other to the moon and back! It’s more than I could’ve ever hoped for as a mama, you can’t force that, it just comes honestly!!!!”

And one mom added, “I’m 54 and my little sister is 48. I always said that she was a gift from GOD. She has taught us so many things about life and especially to care for someone. I will always be grateful for my mother to have given us this special gift.”
Who else wants to go make a phone call their sibling now?
