Chad Michael Murray and his wife, Sarah Roemer, have some exciting news to share with their fans and followers – they’re officially a family of 5! The former One Tree Hill actor – who turns 42 years old on Thursday (August 24) – took to his Instagram on Sunday to share a zoomed-in photo of the newborn.
The photo didn’t reveal the newborn’s face, but it did reveal a birthmark near the baby girl’s ankle and, believe it or not, the birthmark is in the shape of a heart – how perfect is that?! The little girl isn’t even a week old, but she’s already spreading the same kind of love and kindness that her parents are known for.
“So blessed and feeling so very grateful. We’ve added to our pack with our new little girl❤️ The Odds on this as her birthmark must be 8 billion to 1 or close???? Thank you all for so much love and warmth with our baby news:) Everyone’s healthy and loved,” Chad Michael Murray wrote – thanking God for his new gift.

Sarah Roemer also took to her Instagram to share the exciting news. “Our baby girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We are so in love! ???????? ????Soaking up all the baby squishy moments that go by all too fast,” she wrote in the caption – sharing the same photo of the rare and unique heart-shaped birthmark.
The couple has yet to reveal the baby’s birth date or birth name, but don’t get too excited – it’s unlikely they share that information (at least anytime soon). Murray and Roemer are also parents to an 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter – both of whom have been sheltered from the public, including their names.
The pregnancy announcement came on July 7 when Chad Michael Murray shared a photo of his wife’s baby bump, but it was much more than just a bump – she looked about ready to pop! “Baby #3 loading. Anyone know any new gadgets for babies? It’s been a bit since we had one,” he wrote in the caption.
He also apologized for the blurry photo and the reasoning for it was fairly relatable to anyone with an iPhone. He revealed that he still has the iPhone 8 because he’s unwilling to give up the home button. “Sometimes I see ppl staring at my phone with button envy and I get it,” Murray added in the caption.

Going from a family of four to a family of five is a big step for any couple – especially when it’s been six years since they last welcomed a newborn. Luckily, Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer have been preparing for this moment for quite some time and are aware of the challenges they might soon face.
After announcing the pregnancy in early July, Murray took to his Instagram Story and wrote, “3rd little one on the way…Gonna need a bigger car. Minivan time.” With an 8-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter, and newborn baby girl, they’re going to be a busy family and are going to need a car that fits their needs.
Especially with all the traveling they do and intend to continue doing, a bigger vehicle is never a bad thing! And while their little girl was just born a week ago, she has already experienced so much. On July 8, Murray posted a video montage of the recent adventures they enjoyed while waiting for the baby’s arrival.
