Actor Owen Wilson has been ordered to pay up, big time. According to court documents, he must now pay his baby mama $25,000 each month in child support, plus a one-time $70,000 payment.
Apparently, the Wedding Crashers star hasn’t even met his 1-year-old daughter. He reportedly demanded a DNA test from ex Varunie Vongsvirates, who filed a paternity petition in 2018, to prove that the child was his.

Baby Lyla was born in October 2018 and the DNA test proved that the actor was, in fact, the father.
Owen and his ex reached a child support settlement and Varunie filed for sole custody of their daughter.
The famous father has opted to not be in the little girl’s life and her mother will make all decisions concerning Lyla’s health, education, and welfare.

According to a Radar Online source, Owen went as far as to change his phone number after learning his ex was pregnant and he never spoke to her again.
“When Varunie told Owen she was pregnant, he was not happy about it, and that was the last time they ever spoke,” a source told Radar. “He changed his phone number. He’s never met his daughter and then he gave no heads up that he was changing his number.”
Sounds like a bit of a mess!

This is horrible. Owen Wilson is a terrible person for just turning his back on his own daughter.
While I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion, I also think saying he is a horrible person is a bit unfair. Would the same thing be said about her if she chose to abort it? And if she did it without even telling him? I doubt it. But that would be her not only choosing to not have the baby in her life, but also choosing to end it’s life. Shouldn’t he have the same right to not have a baby in his life as she does?
