Jeremy Renner Shares Picture From His Hospital Bed After Scary Snowplow Incident

For the first time since it was revealed that he was in an accident involving a snowplow, actor Jeremy Renner is speaking out. On January 3, Renner took to Instagram to share a photo of himself laying in his hospital bed, recovering from his injuries.

“Thank you all for your kind words. ????. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” Renner wrote. Several of Renner’s famous friends took to the comments section to offer their well-wishes to their friend.

“Lotsa love out there for you bud,” Jimmy Fallon wrote. “Tough as nails. Love you, buddy,” Captain America, also known as Chris Evans added. Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth also sent a quick message to their friend, writing respectively, “Continued prayers your way, brutha.” “Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!”

Additionally, more new information about the accident is being revealed. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner was injured while using a Snowcat plow machine to plow his family out after a massive New Year’s Eve blizzard.

According to authorities, Renner had been helping a family member who was driving the car and had gotten stuck, Sheriff Darin Balaam of Washoe County said during a news conference, The New York Times reports. It was after the family member was able to get out of the snow that Renner hoped out of the 7-ton snowplow for a moment.

At that moment, the snowplow began drifting backward. Renner reportedly attempted to get back into the driver seat of the plow and that is when the blow ran over him. Video obtained by TMZ showed the actor being airlifted by a chopper around 9:50 a.m. on January 1.

New Information Regarding Jeremy Renner’s Snowplow Injury Revealed

TMZ continued to report that a neighbor, who is a doctor, ran to Renner’s aid to help him until paramedics arrived. The neighbor was able to get a tourniquet around Renner’s leg to stop the reported massive blood loss.

Police have since reportedly “impounded the Snowcat” as it is supposed to have safety features that prevent rollovers. After undergoing surgery on Monday, his rep. Sam Mast revealed on Tuesday that Renner suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” and he remained in intensive care in critical but stable condition.

As Mamas Uncut reported earlier this morning, Avenger fans are keeping Hawkeye in their prayers after news revealed the actor who plays Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner was involved in a serious accident.

According to CBS News, it is now known that Renner is in “critical but stable condition.” Reports reveal that Renner was snowplowing when he sustained the injuries.

Renner’s representative Sam Mast said this in a statement released to the public: “We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”

Mast went on to confirm that the accident took place in Reno, Nevada. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”

The extent and specification of his injuries were not made immediately known to the public. What is known is that Renner does own property on Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe.

That area had recently experienced significant snow storms. Earlier in December, Renner tweeted a photo of his car buried under feet of snow. Renner himself has not yet used his social media to send a message to his fans. We are thinking and hoping for a speedy recovery for Jeremy Renner!
