It has now been an entire month since Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady filed and finalized their divorce. And while some people thought it would be an ugly divorce full of drama and fighting, that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, the former couple is intent on and dedicated to remaining friendly exes.
It was put on full display last week during the Thanksgiving holiday, when Tom Brady posted a photo of his oldest son, Jack, throwing a football – captioning the photo ‘❤️ My Inspiration ❤️’ The photo was taken the day before when Jack was seen running a few drills at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice.
The photo has been liked by more than 575,000 people and received thousands of comments, including one from his ex-wife, Gisele. Her message was short and sweet – posting a red heart emoji – but it was a sign that the divorced parents will remain close, despite their very sudden and very public downfall.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen share two children together – 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake and 12-year-old son Benjamin Rein. Brady also shares a 15-year-old son, Jack, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan – the same Jack that was seen throwing the pigskin with his father at a recent Bucs’ practice.
Jack is currently a freshman in high school and, in case you were wondering, has started playing high school football. While his father spends most of his time trying to avoid free safeties on the field, Jack is a free safety himself – spending most of his time trying to read the quarterback and get an interception.
Still, it looks like he learned enough from his father to throw with a tight spiral – something he showcased at the practice. He’s nowhere near as good as his father (yet, at least), but he did garner a few high-fives and handshakes from members of the team – including Kyle Trask, a third-string QB behind Tom Brady.
As for the photograph Brady posted on Instagram, it garnered a lot of attention from some big-name celebrities – not just Gisele, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team account, Deion Sanders, Jim Gray, Erin Andrews, Alexis Ohanian, and more. It’s safe to say the 15-year-old is quite popular these days.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady Will Work Together as Co-Parents
After 13 years of marriage, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are facing a new reality as divorced parents. And while they understand it means a lot of changes are to come, as well as compromises to be made, the two are moving forward with a common goal and commitment – doing what’s best for their children.
One source close to Brady told PEOPLE that the kids will have “full access” to both parents whenever needed. “They can see whichever parent they want. They’ve got a schedule, but neither of them would prevent their kids from seeing the other parent. That’s not who either of them are,” the source said.
On his Let’s Go podcast, Tom Brady expressed how grateful he was for his family. “I think myself as a parent and being grateful during Thanksgiving, it’s always time for family. When you think about this holiday and the commitment that parents make and that my parents made to me and my career is unbelievable.”
