After a long 13 years in which Britney Spears’ entire life was lived for her, Britney just put out her first song since her conservatorship has ended!
And let us be the first to tell you, it is a bop, a banger, a hit—all of the words the kids are using today when something is really good.
It’s Here and You Have to Listen to Hit! Britney Spears Is Back With a Hit Song Alongside Elton John
The song, titled Hold Me Closer, which features the legendary singer-songwriter, Elton John, is actually a remake of one of his most famous and most beloved hit songs, Tiny Dancer.
And if you haven’t heard it yet, it’s time to take four minutes for yourself and listen now!
We don’t know about you, but we can’t help but get up and dance around our living room with a huge smile on our faces while listening to this!

In celebration of the song immediately going number 1, Elton John shared a photo of Spears talking in a British accent while celebrating the victory from her bathtub. “Hello, Sir Elton John. We are like number in 40 countries. Holy sh*t,” Spears said in the video. “I’m about to go have the best day ever. And I hope you’re well.”
In the caption of the post, Elton wrote, “Hey Britney!! Thank you for this message. You’ve made my day!! Hope everyone has the best day dancing to our song!”
Britney is currently talking one of her social media hiatuses at the moment. But as the video shows, she’s truly basking in this beautiful moment!
Congratulations, Britney and Elton! We’ll be dancing all night long, thanks to you!
