Alex Rodriguez knows who’s boss. The New York Yankees star spoke to Today with Hoda & Jenna about parenting a blended family with fiancée Jennifer Lopez.
The couple parent Rodriguez’s two children, whom he shares with his ex Cynthia Scurtis, Ella Alexander, 11, and Natasha Alexander, 15. He is also now a father to Jennifer Lopez’s twins, Emme Maribel and Maximilian “Max” David, 11, from her marriage to Marc Anthony.

“We have four kids, and no one listens to Dad,” he told the Today hosts.
Rodriguez admitted that once Lopez gets home, she’s the boss. “Before she gets home, I’m the boss. When I get home, I’m security, I’m Uber, I’m the teacher.”
When Lopez gets home, though, “it’s over, it’s over,” he joked.
“When she gets home, she’s the boss,” guest host Andy Cohen said.

Rodriguez, though, doesn’t mind losing his boss status.

“I’m drawn to powerful women because my mother – she had two jobs,” he said. “I have an incredible sister, and I just believe in women’s equality. Women are the future.”
Lopez and Rodriguez have made their family a priority.

“I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away,” Lopez told People. “[It was like] ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice.’”
