On May 3, Tori Roloff took to Instagram to share some big news. On April 30, Tori and her husband, Little People Big World star Zach Roloff welcome their third child into the world.
During the length of Tori’s pregnancy, the couple kept the gender of their third child a secret. That is, until now.
Tori Roloff Makes Surprise Announcement No One Expected So Soon
According to the Roloff family, they are now the proud parents of another baby boy! Tori and Zach are already the parents of a son named Jackson and a daughter named Lilah.
As Tori wrote on Instagram, “Welcome to the world sweet Josiah Luke!” Along with the adorable tot’s name, she also shared that he was born at 9:02 a.m. and weighed seven pounds, six ounces, and measured 19 and a half inches long!
“You surprised us all by coming early, but also the wait felt like a lifetime! Best birthday present ever!” Today is also Tori’s 31st birthday.
It remains unconfirmed if Josiah also has achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism, like his father and two oldest siblings do. However, in a recent Q&A Tori did with her followers, she alluded that possibility of Josiah having dwarfism is high.
“I wish this could be a surprise too but when [doctors] tell me I need a [C-section] it makes it sort of obvious,” Tori Roloff revealed before explaining, “We won’t know if he or she is a dwarf until further into pregnancy. And with dwarves, it’s encouraged to have a [C-section] because of bigger head size.”
She then continued to clarify by adding, “I was saying, I’d love to not know but IF my [doctor] says I need a [C-section,] it would be obvious to us.” Tori has always been adamant that it does not matter to her if her children have dwarfism or not and that it shouldn’t matter to others either.
Tori and Zach first revealed they were pregnant with their third child in November 2021. Their pregnancy announcement came months after Tori experienced a miscarriage in 2020.
“We are so excited to share some exciting news with you,” Tori wrote at the time. “Baby Roloff will be joining us this spring and we are so grateful to God for this sweet gift!”
In March, Tori shared some poignant words as she released it had been a full year since experiencing the miscarriage. “It’s been exactly one year since we found out we lost our sweet baby,” she wrote on March 10.
“I still haven’t fully recovered from that experience, and to be honest I don’t know that I ever will. Having a miscarriage was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face personally, and I really could not have gotten through it without God’s promise, or my husband and kids,” she added in part.
“I am so grateful for God’s goodness and the gift we’ve been given after such a time of grief. I’ve been so much more appreciative of the aches and pains of pregnancy because I’ve realized just how much of a gift it truly is. To any mamas out there who have walked this same path (some much worse than us) I pray you are not forgotten. I pray that you continue to be faithful and obedient and never give up hope! I pray you can find strength in any storm you’re going through, and that at the end of it you find God’s goodness! To all past present and future mamas: I see you!”
And the Roloff celebration will continue this month. Not only is Tori’s birthday in May but so is Jackson’s! Tori and Zach’s oldest will be celebrating his 5th birthday in just a few days!
