Kanye West has been temporarily suspended from Instagram after violating the company’s company guidelines.
Content from his account, @kanyewest has been deleted for violating policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment according to a Meta spokesperson.
Last week, the musician reportedly posted a photo of comedian Trevor Noah and captioned it with racial slurs.
The original posts have since been deleted.
Noah had previously discussed Kanye’s mental state amid his divorce from reality star Kim Kardashian in a segment on “The Daily Show” this past Tuesday night.
“It’s spun into a story that seems fully tabloid but I think deserves a little more awareness from the general public…I know everyone thinks it’s a big marketing stunt…” Noah said during his segment.
“Two things can be true: Kim likes publicity, Kim is also being harassed. Those things can be happening at the same time.”
Ye’s Instagram was also restricted from posting, commenting and sending direct messages for 24 hours. If Ye continues not to follow Instagram community guidelines, additional steps will be taken according to the spokesperson.
Kanye has also posts just as quickly as he deletes — and usually, it’s about Kardashian — with whom he shares four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 — and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Just last week, an alleged text thread shared by writer Dave Sirus, Davidson, 28, looks to have told the rapper, 44, that he is “done being quiet,” in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The alleged conversation was shared Sunday afternoon after West posted on his Instagram page criticizing ex Kim Kardashian, 41, for her parenting skills, once again.
Davidson called Kardashian “literally the best mother I’ve ever met” before calling out West for his own parenting skills.
“What she does for those kids is amazing and you’re f——g lucky that she’s your kids’ mom,” he wrote.
“I’ve decided I’m not going to let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet,” he wrote. “Grow the f— up,” he continued.
Davidson went on to claim how he has “stopped SNL” from mocking the rapper on the show “for months” in addition to refraining from making jokes about him during stand-up routines.
“You have no idea how nice I’ve been to you despite your actions towards me,” Pete texted, later adding, “I’ve had your back even though you treat me like s— because I want everything to be smooth.”
