Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce is getting hostile. After several weeks after Kanye made statements regarding Kim’s parenting and her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian is swinging back.
After writing a song with lyrics suggesting that he would assault Kim’s newest love interest, Pete Davidson, and calling out Kim Kardashian for allowing their oldest daughter North West to use TikTok, Kim is no longer sitting back and letting Kanye slam her.

First what has Kanye said:
On February 4, Kanye posted a screenshot of one of North’s TikTok. He wrote, “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
In a statement issued to her Instagram Story, Kim wrote, “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create.”
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness. Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”
Kim continued by stating she has wanted nothing more than a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kanye. “From the beginning, I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
Kim concluded by saying if she had it her way, she and Kanye would be handling their issues privately. “I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
Shortly after, Ye is responding back with another Instagram statement. Alongside a screenshot of Kim’s statement, he wrote:
“What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way…”
Kanye then went on to share a screenshot of TikTok’s guidelines which suggests a child under the age of 13 should not have an account of their own. While Kim and North share the account, North is currently 10 years old.
After publicly speaking his piece to Kim, West spoke out against various media sources regarding their bias while covering the drama between him and his estranged wife. “TMZ MY CHILDREN ARE NOT A GAME TO ME I NEED AN APOLOGY FOR HOW YOU TRIED TO SPIN THE NARRATIVE YOU ARE NOT BEING A FAIR MEDIA SOURCE YOU’RE PICKING SIDES AGAINST THE DAD,” Kanye wrote in response to one of TMZ’s headlines.
He also shared tweets made by conservative reporter Candace Owens who said she believe Kim is “wrong on this one.”
“THANK YOU CANDACE FOR BEING THE ONLY NOTEWORTHY PERSON TO SPEAK ON THIS ISSUE THERE’S A LOT OF CELEBRITIES SCARED TO SAY SOMETHING IN PUBLIC BUT THEY’LL TEXT ME IN PRIVATE AND SAY THEIR ON MY SIDE I WILL NO LONGER PUT MY HAND THROUGH A BLENDER TO HUG MY CHILDREN MY MOTHER TOOK ME TO CHICAGO WHEN I WAS 3 AND TOLD MY DAD IF HE CAME TO CHICAGO HE WOULD NEVER SEE ME AGAIN SO I BOUGHT THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR I DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE DAD’S CAN STILL BE HEROES.”
Hopefully, both Kim and Kanye can stop using social media to work through their issues and come to a resolution for their children’s sake. Because, in the end, that is all that really matters.
