Katy Perry is loving year one with her baby girl, Daisy Dove.
“1 year ago today is the day my life began… Happy first Birthday my Daisy Dove, my love. ❤️,” the singer wrote to Twitter.
In May, Katy shared how her then 9-month-old daughter hit two big developmental milestones.
“She’s crawling and she has one tooth,” Perry revealed during an appearance on On-Air with Ryan Seacrest. “It’s barely poked through though.”
“Actually it’s kind of like one of my teeth,” she joked. “I have pretty good teeth on the top but if you were to actually see my bottom teeth, they’re a little interesting, but I think that’s character!”

The singer also revealed in L’Officiel‘s Summer 2021 issue how at first, she was “nervous to be a mom,” saying she went on a “healing journey” to understand why she had that insecurity about motherhood.
“Now I get it. Now I realize this is it,” said Katy. “This is the living part. Every day I’m like, ‘When can we go for a walk? When can we go for a swim?’ There was a good 12 years where none of that smallness existed.”
“It was amazing to live big and wild,” she added, “but sometimes it’s nice just to throw the ball on the grass and watch your daughter laugh from the simple joys of the dog coming and bringing it back.”
Perry shares Daisy with Orlando Bloom, who is also dad to 10-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Kerr, 38, spoke on her relationship with the pair this past month on an episode of the Moments with Candace Parker podcast, revealing she loves to hang out with Perry, 36, over Bloom, 44.
“He’s, like, to me right now, a brother. And most of the time, an annoying brother,” she continued adding that Perry “helps me deal with him.”
Back in April, the pair raved about each other in an Instagram Live session.
“When Orlando started dating Katy, I remember he invited me over one time and she was there, and we just immediately got along,” Kerr recalled. “I saw how she was with Flynn. She was very playful with Flynn. She was not trying to be his mum. She was just being friendly and fun, and that’s all you can ask for.”
